Family Ritual

Early in the morning my family and I  invite people over because my dad and my cousins do a hang i at the back of my house. At back and they cook the pig.Then the kids have to stay away from the fire because the fire and the smoke can get into your eyes.My cousins always bring food so there enough for my whole family because we have a lot of family. Sometimes we invite our next door neighbor over and he does his roast chicken it smelt nice.

After that me and my cousins go to the shops to buy the drinks. After we bought the drinks we go to my uncles and see if he coming over to have a feast with my family and my other cousins from north shore then we had to cook the fish in the house my sister and my mum did that After it was cooked it went in the oven so it can trap the heat.

Then me and my aunt made palusami and we it was done I could taste the flavor and I was just ready with my fork in my hand.when the umu was finish we waited from the big sheet to get cool.After that we grabbed the plates and eat when I was eating I was like in heaven.

That was one of the best food in my life thanks to my family.
